the 300 is a awesome engine, and i've seem some builds where are they making awesome power low down in the RPMs, but if you think your gonna make a racing engine outta it then you better be ready to drop some major bucks.

The only company I know of that makes ford 300 4bbl manifolds are Offenhauser

I like 300s. In fact, I like them so much, I am very close to swapping one in my 72 in place of the 360. I want to as soon as the 300 comes out of my dads 79 F150 that he is swapping a 351W into. The 3000 has less than 7500 miles (if i remember right) on a complete rebuild.

i got a rebuilt i6 im looking at but it needs a carb. those rebuilt are 300 bucks from summit i cant find em anywhere else. anyone kno where to look?
