Just cheap wires, cap, and button from orilleys but used bosch plugs. whats the difference between the pre emission timing gear and the stock one and is a '71 to '74 a direct match

Do NOT put blowmasters erm I mean flowmasters in it.
I would suggest true dual 2.5" with either an h-pipe or x-pipe setup.
Longtube headers and exit is personal. Preference.

This is true about the K&N......

230 hp @ 3600 rpm

390 ft/lb @ 2000 rpm

Those are not dyno numbers with a K&N installed Don those are stock numbers I dug up.....The K&N does help with flow, I ahve one, i just down't like all the sand in the intake that my filter misses. I also have MAF so the oil in the filter plays hell on the mass air sensor.

If i wanted to build my headers myself how hard is it. have band saw welder and all the tool. no pipe bender though. anybody ever made a set?
