Both my dent and bump get around the same: 8 mpg's in town driving and 12 mpg's on the highway.

'94 XLT Supercab, short bed, 5.0, 4R70W, 3.55 gears
11~14 city.... (if idling a lot or tuning it, etc. it gets 11mpg)
15~18 highway.... (I don't know where that 18 mpg came from but I got it out of one tankful..)
I tend to drive pretty conservatively and do not haul anything (yet).

86 F250 4x4 6.9 diesel, 4 speed 4.10 gears, stock size tires, 10-12 towing-empty
88 F250 351W 5 speed, 3.08 gears, stock tires, 8-10 empty, 5 loaded heavy if I am lucky(high high miles on this one!)
92 F350 Cummins diesel, mid to low teens towing, mid to upper empty, 3.53 gears, 5 speed

1987 5.0 AOD F150 17 mpg open road - not going to think about it around town.
1997 Nissan Elgrand 3.2 turbo intercooled diesel auto = 28mpg hwy and about 20mpg around town (wifes car)

1991 Diahatsu Applause 1600cc auto = 25mpg hwy 18mpg town (daughters car)

1995 Nissan Homy 2.7 turbo intercooled diesel 25mpg hwy 15mpg town (courtesy coach for bar)
