My guess would be $7k into the motor and tranny alone......I'm going to guess, $35k in materials, not including personal man hours, just what had to be outsourced by pros.

Kit cars are kinda popular.

I went to high school with a kid and his dad bought him a shelby kit car to put together, but I never did ask him about it much. All I know is that it had a 351w.
