I had to replace the tailgate bumpers on my 78 F-150 Ranger Lariat for one was missing and well the others had seen better days, I had used the upper tailgate bumpers for a 2000 up F-150 / Super Duty for my lower tailgate bumpers and they cost $19.20 for the pair, For the upper tailgate bumpers which are the round ones on the Generation 6 trucks, I had used the tailgate bumpers for a 2007 Chevy Colorado for my upper tailgate bumpers for they were the round ones, for $15.60 for the pair. I know that I'm going to catch some good natured turd for using Chevy parts on a Ford. But they worked, and solved my tailgate rattle. For less than $40.00 it is like a new truck. Hopefully this helps other people with the same problem.
