haven't been back on the site for a while
been working on modifactions to the T-bird and
then the C6 for my 66 F100 fell into my lap...ouch!
but really couldn't pass up a freshly rebuilt C6 that just came out of a 67 F100 restored show truck and the owners were dropping in a Lighting Drive train,
the guy just got tired of tripping over the transmission in his shop.
I got the trani and drive shaft for $300 plus $100 for the fuel to pick it up and bring it back
now I've been doing my home work on the other parts I will need
and
it looks like I got another $900 or so to spend
my question is and that is if I really have a question
Does Oreilly have a flex plate? and how would you ask for it?
the only one I think I've found is from Jegs for $200
can't seem to get it over the counter at Oreilly's by telling them its for my 66 with a stroked 352!
and it did not seem to work with the kid yesterday when I told him to look under 67 behind a FE390
