surging feeling

When I have the a/c on I get a surging/skip feeling from the truck not rpm dependent.It's got 92k miles I just done a full major tune up plugs,wires,cap,rotor,fuel filter,air filter,cleaned the TB also.
1990 302/AOD truck

Runs great with the a/c off but has this problem with it on.

make sure your a/c is fully charged. If its low, it will kick on and off creating a "surge".
