skyjacker 6 inch springs

Hello everyone,

I know some guys on here are running the skyjacker springs. I need to order 6 inch springs for the rear.

Can anyone confirm if they are using the factory 3 inch block when installing the new spring? I called skyjacker and they said I would most likely need it??
Just looking for a more concrete answer. Currently I have an aftermarket 3"and 5" welded together. (no laughing please). Anyway, I can not locate factory blocks and the after markets seam to be 2.5 wide and not 3" wide.

If I remember correctly , you use the factory block with the new springs.
Can you cut the welds on the existing blocks and separate them ?

my welded blocks are after market and only 2.5 wide. Is the factory block the full width of the spring?

Maybe 2.5 is enough but it just looks wrong.

My factory blocks are 3 1/4" at the spring.

try looking at your local pick-n-pull, you need blocks from a 77.5 - 79 3/4 or 1 ton truck. and yes you will still need the block with your 6" springs.
