hello restoring my first vehicle (1960) f250 had a 292 in it but i pulled it and is now trying to put a 360 in but the mounts are in different places any help
The 360/390s share the exact same block, only the crank, rods and pistons are different. The heads are the same.
B&S: 352: 4.00 x 3.50 / 360: 4.05 x 3.50 / 390: 4.05 x 3.78.
You don't think a 390 won't suck gas? It won't be one bit better than a 360, and it doesn't really matter what size the engine is, because...
These trucks have the aerodynamics of a brick...a gallon of regular gas was 20-25 cents back then...and no one gave a damn about MPG.
