I had nothing to do today so I removed the cowl cover form my 02 f350.
it is pretty simple, about 6 screws and a few push fasteners , the wipers remove pretty simple also.
Why did I do this?
to check the AC intake for trash that smells and blocks airflow, to my surprise they hide the intake screen pretty well, Its on the passenger side under a rubber/putty cover , it peals off easily, and with the fan running I sprayed air freshener in the screen till I smelled it in the cab.
Then I painted the wiper arms with black spray paint, looks better.
I scrubbed the cowl covers in the bathtub and rubbed them down with back to black.
It all looks new now.
Simple project to kill a few hours and make the F350 look better.
