Mike, My truck has the latest heat inductive flash. That is the program where you turn the key on and as the glow plugs are doing their thing, the injectors through some sort of resistance thing are being pre-heated to help prevent cold sticktion (sp). I also run 5w40 Shell Rotella Synthetic year round. With those two factors my truck starts like a gasser clear down into the single digits of temperature. I do however plug my truck in if the overnight temps are forecast to go into the very low 20's or below as it assists in the warm up of my truck. I don't have that luxury out on the jobsite so my truck is subject to a cold soak of whatever the ambient temps are that day.
