I was driving down MO, Ave in front of ford (where vince works)the other day and my radio stoped playing and all my guages bottomed out then maxed out like when you start the truck, Then went back to normal. Then the battery light came on on the dash then went out after about 4 seconds. Oh and the truck did not shut off, I was able to continue to drive. No problems since, Any ideas?

Heavy rains--- GEM get wet? or worse?
I'm not 6.0 savvy. But I used to have to keep 6 7.3's up and running. After a heavy rain (like we had a couple days ago) those trucks were always having some kind of hiccup.

possible loose battery cable. I have had that happen to me too many times to count! LOL

No, not battery cable, Batteries or alternator, Had them checked at autozone seconds after it happened.

Check those connectors on the driver side of the motor. then look at the ground connection on the pass front of the engine.
