question replacing rear window chrome trim

has anyone replaced the chrome trim on a 94 rear sliding window?mine is looking bad,starting to crack and is missing some chrome,also where is the best place to get the chrome parts,looks like it would not be to hard to put in or is it? thanks

Removing window is not bad. used stuff is probably only you will find other than ford(and they r getting rid of the older stuff .)

It a strip of chrome in rubber around window right ?All my trucks r black

yes its a plastic insert with a chrome finish,today i found some on lmc truck parts site , just wondering if anybody has done it ,looks like it just pulls out of the groove
