parts inventory and truck i picked up

Here is a few snaps of a parts truck i picked up and everything that the guy gave me along with it I have now got more than enough to rebuild my truck plus i pretty well have a couple of spares for everything. The truck just had all the cab corners and door jam plates redone as well as the floor. Also he gave me new door seals, rubber precut floor mat, brakes, clutch, door sill plates and god only knows what else. Along with four transmissions , three transfer cases , full front axle assembly, many full front and rear drive shafts. long story short since i got all these parts a good many of the guys in the area with these trucks still kickin around are calling me and dropping by all the time looking for stuff haha, like i tell them andi sure you guys understand i got no problem helping someone out who is stuck but i goin to need parts for my truck same as they do so i cant be giving it all away for cases of beer and what not.

Nice haul man...before I started selling anything, I'd get the truck together first and then let the rest go.

I know -exactly- what you are talking about, I do all sorts of stuff for all
sorts of people all the time.

Problem is, most of them are just "fair weather friends".

Just got done having trouble with a neighbor over something else because
he got pissed at me for not fixing his A/C for -free- this last weekend. Hey,
he didn't give me enough advance notice his family was coming and I had
other people to do things with already planned and he knew about that too.

Yeah, see it?

Some of those same guys you are talking about could later turn on you the
same way. And from their perspective, they don't have to make a lick of
sense after they get pissed from being "dis'ed" because logic goes right out
the window after they get -used- to you being "easy".

Anyway, retained -all- of my meager R-22 supply in that deal! LOL

He'll come around in a couple months wanting something, this ain't the first
time. LOL I need to start charging that particular guy money tho.

I don't know the story, how much you give for all that cool stuff?

1000 bucks and the truck ran so in my opinion pretty good considering all the stuff i got with it new still in box

hahaha the supercab is getting stored in the woods by my cottage for future parts. and the 74 if this happens will be used to lugging wood and stuff. the 74 i would love to do because of the divorced transfer case and dana 60's but the body is completely shot but who knows down the road when i finish my 77
