I had to take a hiatus from my project. My other truck, whose brand will remain nameless, needed a head or intake gasket. I went ahead and did the head gasket since she was apart already.
Where did you get the body panels? I have a 77 f250 crewcab with a 460 and it looks similar to yours. Anyone know if there are any threads on rust repair for the roof. Mine is in bad shape with several holes in it.
I can't believe it. I seem to have misplaced the bolt for the alternator. Not the one to adjust, the long one to bolt to the block. I was replacing the water pump and it just disappeared.
I got the door speaker in today. I also replaced the driver vent glass frame. The other was so far beyond rusting. The rubber seal was so old that it crumbled in my fingers. Now I need a lock. I will check around.
Got a few little thngs done today. My son and I put in a manual oil pressure, water temperature gauge. I still need to hook up the voltmeter. I put the 3 gauages on sheet metal and it will go right over the big square cut hole. That's where the ac vents used to be. The picture is posted some place. I also gave the valve cover a fresh coat of old Ford blue. They look better but not by much.
