Most body lifts will runn you under $100. I'm not a fan of them, especially if you're going to be jumping your rig. As for shocks, Fox will be your best bet IMO...but if you're looking for budget body lifts, my guess is you won't like the price of Fox shocks:
I think you need to do a little reseach on this "pre-ruuner" you want to build. There is no such thing as a budget pre-runner. You will have close to 15K in the suspension by the time it is all said and done. another 10K in the motor. and 5-10K in body work/panels.
I would check out some of these links before you go getting too stupid.
Well...they're shocks, but I wouldn't call them any good. If you're planning on pre-runner style wheeling, shocks are not the area to skimp on. I'd suggest Bilstein 5100's as the absolute bare minimum. There's a local offroad racing community in my area called ECORS, and some of those guys really like the Edelbrock EAS adjustables in their race rigs, but they say they fade awfully quick.
