My 97 psd lug spacing is 8x 6.5 i think.... Are rims from later model 8 lug fords interchangeable with mine? Or rims from a cummins or duramax?

97 was the last year Ford used the 8x6.5 bolt spread on pickups, anything on a super duty is the metric pattern. You can use the Dodge wheels for quite a ways into the 2000's, and you can fit anything from an older Ford 8 bolt. I think it is 2002 when they stopped with the 8x6.5 on the E series as well. If you go older, any aftermarket wheel with the proper offset will fit with that pattern. GM also used the same pattern, but into the 90's they went with a negative offset that would not work on the Fords and Dodges, and the center hole on the GM's generally was smaller than Fords and Dodges.

Doing a little reading, it appears the 8x6,5 is still in use on the new E series vans...
