The last one looks good, but who knows when those pictures were taken? Maybe when he bought it?
The second one has been wrecked. 4 WD doesn't work. Frame damage?
The first one "Has some rust". Personally, I'd rather buy a solid body truck with a blown engine than a good running truck with rust issues.
YMMV...

You would need to go have a look at the trucks in person.
I learned this the hard way after buying a truck on eBay. The pictures looked great. NICE truck. ('73 F100) Only thing was, when the truck was delivered to me, it was apparent that it was the same truck as in the pictures, but the pictures were several years old. It was a rusty POS... I got screwed hard. Fortunately for me, the eBay buyer protection plan saved me. I only lost the shipping charges. They paid me for the purchase price of the truck.
I'll never buy another vehicle sight unseen again.
Dont make a decision on pictures alone.

#2.......if he got hit hard in the wheel , it could possibly be just a broke front axle......

I didn't say he was bro.
My message was don't base an opinion on pictures. Which is what he was asking us to do.
I would also expand my search to eBay, and refine the search perameters to a geographic radias that he is comfortable in traveling to look at / buy a truck.
More options are better...:)

If you not dead set on a hi boy, get a 78-79 F250, or if you're really lucky a F350. Better sterring set up, they all have disc brakes in the front, married t-case, high pinion front axle, etc.

I can feel the hi-boy hate mail coming at me already 'drama'
