looking to totally re-cond my 99 f-250. buy new remanufacture or rebuild motor, different gear ratio..suspension lift..minor mods like cold air, cat back exhaust. new paint ect.
I tow a camper maybe 6 times a year tops. And the truck might get driven once a week mostly on the weekends.
I am thinking if i switch to 4:88's in the rear coupled with a few aftermarkets to help the 5.4 breath, would make enough of a difference when towing.
I have been considering a new Jasper engine. which i could install myself. Really do not have the time or place to completely tear down and re-build the existing motor which has 275,000 miles on it.
So looking on opinions on the jaspers. Just looking for a good looking servicable ride that will be used occasionally for towing.
