I get to replace the water pump at 2500 miles.

I guess the gates i got sent from rock auto was bad.. Has been puking out coolant last 3 times I've drove it..

So yeah.. Get to do that in the next few days when I get the chance and am able to go get the truck to bring it home.. Left it at inlaws

I love changing 5.0 water pumps. Sooo much harder than it needs to be. Water pump mounting is one thing GM did a lot better than ford.

imho..shouldnt be a bad job with a fresh engine....Heck with an air ratchet ive done them in just under an hour....

It won't be bad... Nice thing is its all new bolts so virtually no chance of breaking one off like ya typically would

Took me about 2 hours to swap the pumps out.. Went back together smooth and have drive it a little no more leaks..
