How do I self test for EEC codes on my 93 bronco

How do I self test my EEC for codes on a 1993 Bronco ?

Is your check engine light on?

Yes it is, but not all the time

I can't remember the exact procedure but if you jump two of the pins on the assembly line data connector under the dash the check engine light will flash out the codes. Someone here will know exactly how ... Been too long since I had to do it...

I think I just run a jumper from Self Test Input plug to negative battery term, but not completely sure, I know most females are mechanically challenged but I try to be informed enough to do simple repair to my truck.

I think that would work, but if I remember right one of the pins in the aldl plug is a ground which does the same thing.

Didn't realize you were a female... Great to see you're mechanically adept...

Hopefully one of the other members will come along and fill in the details... I just put in 12 hours at work today and my brain is just about done.
