headers?

I want to get some headers and ditch my manifolds. Im worried about clearance though what kind of headers would you suggest?. Also merry christmas everyone.

I'd say that you have two choices, fenderwell exits or these http://www.sandersonheaders.com/product_info.php?cPath=21_24_42&products_id=86, the only shorties availible for our 351m400 equipped trucks.

I have them and the quality is top notch, nice thick flanges and excellent welds. Not cheap though, $500 ceramic coated. You get what you pay for.

I went from some low hanging (they dumped right into the t-case x-member), starting to rust out in 4 year, $150 Heddmans to these. I'm more than happy with my investment.

When I got my 79, there was a set of Hedmans on it which fit well and didn't exit through the fenderwell...I don't have a model number but they are Hedmans...btw..cool pics Lee!

ceramic coated?? I thought those were stainless...
