Gate/Glass lock cylender

if the doors are unlocked, i can push the button and open the glass. if its locked and i put the key in, and try to move it, it won't turn. ive sprayed it with pb blaster, and tryed working it, but its still stuck. i used to work the just "seized up" on me. any thoughts guys? jdk

It doesn't work if the doors are locked.

That's how it is supposed to be.

Perhaps the wire has come off inside the tailgate.
I had to clean mine up and resecure the whole assembly when I got my 95

When you actuate the each direction switch does the Lift knob go up and down ?

There is a KNOB like on the side doors that goes up and down with the actuator.Sometimes the linkage falls off.
