The reason people go with the 92 front clip swap is because of the newer look with the older body and interior design, me personally I love the interior of my 89 F-250, but despise the dash setup on a 92-96 F-series. I have the 89 F-250 Extended cab long bed 4x4, love the style of the cab, like the front clip, but the 92 clip comes with more available options for aftermarket hoods, grilles, and headlights whereas the 89 clip only has options for clear side marker lenses, grilles, and a ugly cowl hood. Most people generally go with the newer look on an older body for these exact reasons, im tempted to swap my front end just for those reasons!
