It may be a Volvo concept but ford is good at using the Volvo technology in its own cars for the better. The new Taurus/Sable/MKS are based on the late model S60/S80 chassis, and Ford has been great at implementing Volvo safety into its own line. Now a Ford Focus with 47MPG turbocharged: Ford makes money.

i kinda liked that truck, and the side hinged tailgate (i think the excursion is the same). but after having a truck, i use that extra foot or two a good amount of time to extend the bed floor (carrying a couch, etc)
