Fabric wear-Driver seat

Seems original owner of my just purchased '90 F250 with 130,000 miles wore the red driver seat original fabric thin. It's faded but intact.

Has anyone found a red fabric spray to bring back the original color? I'd rather spray than get seat cover. The rest of bench seat is in really great shape.

If it's fabric I'm not sure how well it would spray or dye, esp. if it's thin.

SMS auto fabrics carries many of the original fabrics our trucks came with.

Stitch & dye

Thanks for idea re new fabric but I'm kind of determined (cheap) to stitch left corner and dye 26 year old fabric where it's worn almost white where driver's butt slid into truck.....and his butt is much smaller than mine.

I wonder if fabric shop might help with dye? I just don't want to go to seat cover, as the balance of red fabric is in great shape & color.

Update

I bit the bullet today

Sprayed driver seat lightly with red rattle can spray

Took awhile to dry but looks much better than faded, worn fabric of 26 years

Next, I just might try to sew seam for reinforcement BEFORE it rips
