I have had the tube from cat to the emmissons stuff go bad as well as the Metal emissions tube (and hoses) That go from head to head on the 302. They
wont make as much noise(leaks) like right off Exhaust pipe. and being right next to air box its a direct route to in cab.

I can't say how many of those I have seen rot out, to be replaced by welding the ends shut...

broken off Spark plug will thread right in. I have to leave all that stuff on my trucks I'm 40 miles (my area has on emissions inspection)from having to get my done. Just matter of time.

Mine have bolts threaded in with copper gasket maker on the threads...good clean look.

Mine has the stock ford plugs in, caus all of my egr was in the old manifolds.

Ok so I have an appointment tomorrow to have the exhaust looked at. Besides cats and the manifold, what else do I need to be specific about??

Any and all of the emissions pipes, they tend to be the first to fail...

Ok I now know where the exhaust smell is coming from.

Exhaust Check Valve.

It sits right against the firewall, and thats why the fumes are so strong. Apparently it rusted out and broke.

Part: $18 Labor: $144 + $4.85 shop supply charge = $166.85 at Midas.

I am so excited to finally no longer have this headache. When I have the money that is lol.
