2 things hope you can help, I want to change trans. filter , auto parts shows a shallow one and a deep one what are the mesurments? Also any hints on cleaning my egr valve, thanks.

Shallow filter = 2wd
Deep filter = 4wd

4x4 has a deeper pan so it needs the longer fluid pickup tube.

To clean the egr-- remove it, use a vacuum pump to actuate the valve while you pour a solve through. Brake parts cleaner or acetone should do the trick. Be gentle cuz you can damage the diaphragm inside.
