My 78 F-250 and everything put into it is written off as business expense also.

I'm even debating a plate with the company name on it :D

More good times today. Aftermarket gas tank was a treat to remove including a vent tube that went over a crossmember that I could not see. The hitch/bumper was amazing, I figure the truck would twist apart before the hitch would...couldn't get at two box bolts without taking the hitch brace off...coudn't get at hitch brace bolts without removing box bolt....very,very nice....much gnashing of teeth and a sawzall. Of course the metal is 3/8.

People never stop amazing me with electrical connections..it doesn't take a whole lot more time or effort to do it properly. It is so close to the connector that I might have to change the whole thing to weather pack or something:

Had to cut this as there was no way the bolt was going to come out with the box bolt in the way!

Old spare...very deflated!

I wasn't kidding when I said old:

Anybody know how to remove these clips?

I just had to post this one again...I can't believe the condition of the tag:

Box is ready to be lifted off, just need some bodies and a bit of figuring out where I'm going to put it. The rear end looks like it has had some welding done on it...I'll look more closely when I get the diff out.

Not necessary Duncan,I was just curious.

It's written right on the door with the company that installed it in 1979...I'm curious as well...pretty sure it was 20 because I remember figuring out that it would be around 16 gal imperial.

With that hitch setup, I guess they didn't care about access to the spare tire.

Good work Duncan!

Thanks...actually you could get at the spare...a bit ugly but it could be done. I don't know if I am going to bother with a spare or not.
