Dang Edelbrocks

We will Rise Again
On my 77 F250, I have trouble with vapor lock in the 750CFM Edelbrock and just recently on my 75 F250 on less than a year old 600 CFM Edelbrock, a float went bad. Seriously considering ditching both and going with Holley.

Not sure what you are having happen, but I have had to double up on the thick gaskets on GM products, may have to put some kind of spacer in, if you are having troubles with hot fuel. I had one 454 actually boil the fuel before... Vapor lock is more of an environmental condition rather than a carb design issue.

Ya, I'm not exactly sure if it's carb or mech. fuel pump. I have the spacers between carb and intake to eliminate temp, I have insulation around the fuel line from pump to carb (even though it's rubber). So, it could be fuel pump getting hot and vaporizing the fuel and not the carb.
