Buzzing in park/neutral?

Odd problem....

I keep hearing this odd faint buzzing noise at idle in park or neutral, and only before warmup. It goes into gear fine and stops once its in...any ideas? Its my 77 with a C6

hows the fliud look? workin.is it on full? .it could be a torque converter or front pump wine...

I dont kno..ill have to check it, last time i did though it was full and red

Does the sound change when you put the tranny in gear ? If "no" it could be power steering pump.

Yea, it goes away when i put it in gear, i think, but turning the wheel makes no difference in the noise.
