Bronco Grill

Looks like buying that truck might have fallen through.... I was looking at some 78-79 Bronco's and was wondering if a 73-77 truck grill would easily fit?

Yes it will fit and I think it looks great on the broncos. Installing the headlight buckets is the tuffest part but its not that bad.

Two of the four holes for the headlights are common, so it isn't too bad at all to change from the different grille styles. Everything else is straight bolt up.

I believe Rick aka Rsalter66 or Saltman wrote up or at the very least has pics of swapping a 73-77 grille on his FSB somewhere around here. But as said, it's not too terribly difficult.

thanks for the info guys, looks like I am getting the pickup on Tuesday (guy left his phone in his bosses car) Bet one of those grills would look pretty good on a bronco, did a few searches but couldn't find that thread. Will post pictures when I get it.

Cool never really liked the later grill on the Dents, YMMV. :)

It's a fastener intensive job. LOL :)

I like to get out all my ratchets and speed handles and multiples of the
same size socket even, so I won't have to snap sockets on and off. :)

2 foot 3/8" extension and 6" too
1/2" sockets
1/2" knuckle socket
7/16" socket
shorty boxed-end wrenches 1/2"x9/16" and 3/8"x7/16"
1/4" nutdriver
#2 Phillips
11/16" deepwell and 1/2" ratchet for the bumper's nuts

Just typing out what I'm picturing, sure I forgot a bunch of somethings. :)

Half the reason I like workin' on stuff is to use my tools.

Nuttier than you thought in AZ
