bed to cab

just changed my bolts on the cab and swapped the 3 inch blocks out with fresh ones but noticed my cab is further from my bed i think by 2 inches top to bottom for both sides no biggie, i guess? depending on what the factory gap is supposed to be?? reg cab short bed half ton

I would guess the car is slide forward a bit. Loosen the cab bolts an slide the cab back a inch and retighten the bolts.

yeah i know that but i dont know how much i should move back, does all 6 need to be loosened? or is the front end mounts okay?

nevermind i found the info in chiltons, i knew i seen the measurements somewhere....

I always did 3/4 to 1" gap. More than likely you will need to loosen them all
