My sons truck has the 44HD in it with the Bendix steering mess. He's coming home soon from deployment and I'd like to get the steering fixed for him. As always it comes to time and money, neither abundant, but it needs fixing.
A longer pitman arm or raising the steering arm would work, or combination of both. Neither seems easy to find.
I'm considering welding a taller steering arm up by cutting an existing one off and modifying it. has anyone actually done one?
