Anybody else just hang their carpet over the...

...clothes line and spray it down good with the garden hose? :)

Oh man, does it ever work out great (in the desert). :)

But the very best part was taking my freshly-sharpened pocket
knife out and cutting a big ol' hole right in the middle of the nice
clean Bronco carpet. ;)

I don't have a carpet. You can wash a rubber mat out right inside the truck :D

I started out looking for carpet, but I was able to get a new floormat off Ebay for under $50 so I just went with that.

I usually like to beat it out (go ahead and make your jokes), then use one of those carpet scrubbers with bristles, then water it down.

I used to use my mom's carpet scrubber...until she found out. It worked really well even on grease stains and did a pretty good job of getting smells out as well.

If you pull the carpets spray a little resolve carpet cleaner. Then and scrub with a brush or stiff bristle broom and hit them with the pressure washer.
They will look like new

LOL :)

And here I was happy as anything just to be washing the soda pop out. :)

They got clean enough to electromagnetically remove -all- the dust off
the bottoms of my shoes each time I stepped back into it tho!
(that's my only real brag here ;)

Several times a year I hear others in the neighborhood out beating their
rugs and now wonder if they didn't wash 'em down and let 'em dry first?
Seems like the dirt wasn't as stuck to the fibers after they dried.

New dust was just the opposite?
Or was it just that the "new dust" could just be easily seen now?
