Sorry but I do not think that is correct. Freshly replaced brakes will not do this. Mine have NEVER done it in the past 3 years of owning the truck. And my 94 never did it in the 1-2 years that I owned it. It ain't normal, and my bet is that you've got built up brake dust in the rear. Could also be the shoes as Chrono mentioned. Start by cleaning out the drums to see if that helps.Some kind of safety system. I don't know exactly. Like I said, it's supposed to do that. And yes Sir, it is very annoying. It can also be embarassing when it catches you off guard. =)
