Air bag suspension?

Anybody have any thoughts on air bag suspension? I'm thinking of putting it on my truck....only to make it easier to throw my wheelchair in box/get in. I'd lower it down to do both, then raise it back up to it's normal height.

Thoughts, concerns, tips?

I'm interested in air ride as well. Those guys at Gas Monkey Garage in Dallas have a supplier for multiple projects. I can't remember the name of Co. but they always seem happy with their products.

You can only get the twin beam suspension so low with airbags because it will end up hitting the frame rails. Airbagit has lowered I beam (axels give a 3 inch drop) and bag kits that can help with that issue. As for the rear there are a couple of options but without a notch the frame rail is going to be your limiting factor. There are axel flip kits (about 6 inch drop)or you can go with hangers and shackles( about 4 inch drop).
