Adding Racetrack trim?

How hard is it to add racetrack trim? I am buying a bed that has racetrack trim....the donor truck has ALL of it, I would only need to get the lower portion on the extended cab as the donor truck is a Std cab.

It's not that hard. Since you have the bed with the trim, than you can use that for alignment. I had to add lower trim on my 77 and I used some automotive tape and placed it on the truck where the trim would go. I think I used a couple layers so I wouldn't scratch it. Than I placed a piece of trim on the truck and used some tape or have a buddy to get the trim where you want it and outline the trim on the tape. Than you can drill holes if you need to for any clip that bolts on and install the plastic clips with rivets or screws in the middle of the outline you have on the tape.
