well my friend called me just a few minutes ago asking for some help. his motor in his chrysler sebring blew up. he thinks he put TOO much oil in it. dumbazz. well he asked if i could help him find another motor and help him swap it in cause the local places are asking for 1000 dollars in labor plus supplies as in the motor. its a 98 with a 2.5L Mitsubishi made motor. do yall expect any hard parts? he said he's gonna try and get started on it asap. so idk with him that means a month and half from now.

Its pretty much like anything else. The only thing you must remember, is that chrysler puts the crank sensor on the bell housing. Make sure you remove it before starting anything.

The 3.0 is a direct bolt in (almost) and has a lot more penitential than the 2.5 ever did..

Tell him to do some reading on aseclub.net..

I have done one chrysler motor swap... is that the one where the trans sits behind the motor like an old Riviera?

They are pretty fun to do actually...
