96 f350 4x4 problems

i have a 1996 350 4 door 4x4 and not getting any power to rear tank haave it under hood does ayone know what color is supposed to be hot power

No idea on the hot wire. But your problem could very well be the tank switch on the dash. Just a thought....

Thanks but unfortunately I haven't got power to the switch either. I thought it might have been the fuel shut off switch and relay but I tried another from a different truck and no luck. I had it running the other day so I am not sure what the deal is.

fuel pump relay or fuse?

I changed the fuel relay but could not find a fuse for it. These fuel injected are pains! Thanks

Mine had bad connection at fuse box and did that

If you have a 5.8L, the fuel pump relay in the Engine Compartment Fuse Box is powered by fuse #16, 20a in the same box. Power from the relay goes to the inertia switch on a DG/Y wire, then from the inertia switch to the Fuel Tank Selector Switch on a R/Y wire. From the selector switch power goes to either the front tank on a R wire or to the rear tank on a BR/W wire. There are two connectors between the switch and the tank. Both the front and rear tanks share a common ground.
