90 F250 Rough Idle?

I can try that but as bad as it is running, not sure it will be accurate

If it's not accurate. test it a few times by shutting down the engine if the results are different then I would say timing gear and chain set. Your Chiltons should have step by step instructions on how to change it.

I was looking at the Chiltons for testing the TPS, check resistance between two terminals and compare to the chart, the chart shows voltage?

Can someone clarify the test procedure....

Something to be said for real shop manuals, which I have for most all the other vehicles.

i say its a bad MAP sensor...

does it idle like this??

note: i plug the sensor back at 1:32

I'll look into that also, similar idle no where near as throaty,
if that makes sense. Must be your Mods

I looked at the book, shows no refrence to a MAP sensor only MAF?
Is it the same thing Pressure vs. Flow?

Checked the timing numerous times, same.
TPS OK
Heres where it gets wierd, I do not have the BARO/MAP tester, so I unplugged the MAP connector, and the idle is great, it is responsive but the CEL is on!

I think I'll risk the $40 and see if that fixes the problem.
