79 Lift

I have a 79 Bronco with a 4in lift on it right now. Im thinking about buying a 6in from a buddy, do i need new shocks or could i use the ones from the 4in?

Depends on the shock...did you upgrade to an applicable shock when you went with the 4" lift...or did you try stretching stock style shocks with the 4"??? If the first scenario...you'll be fine, if the latter...no, you'll need new shocks.

im not sure bout the shocks, i got the bronco about a month ago, the guy told me it had a 3in body and 6in suspension. it only has a 4 with no body, the guy was kinda ignorant.
