Did you put a multimeter to check how many volts the connection is putting out or you just going by the codes?

doesnt go by volts.. it's ohm's on the MAP sensor.. im just gonna get one from the junkyard and go from there..

im going by the codes.. but also based off the way the truck was acting... seemed like a MAP sensor issue

Ohms, yes, but that's resistance. It gets the 5v reference signal from the ECM, it is lowered by the resistance of the sensor measured in ohms, and the output in volts is read by the ECM.

You're both right.
