3G alternator Write Up

I would say buy a new one, after you get the G3 and pay for the rebuild your not saving much.
Unless its just the junk yards around here..

Pay for the rebuild? What for?! Just find an alternator with working components inside, dissemble and replace the bearings, reassemble and get new brushes for the voltage regulator (or a new regulator) and you're all set. My whole 130A 3G swap cost me all of about $35.
