Warped rotors generally create a vibration in the brake pedal, not the steering wheel... Though you rotors may actually be warped, it might not be enough to really cause a problem. I'd lean more towards bad alignment if you're getting a shake in the steering wheel when braking.

Warped front rotors will normaly manifest themselves in a vibration in the steering wheel under braking, you may also feel like the car is bucking a bit when comming almost to a stop.

Yes, the price on those rotors is normal. on the 2004-08 F-150 2 wheel drive the hub, bearing, and rotors all all one part held on by one big nut that i think you are also supposed to replace. the 4X4 has the normal knockoff type rotors. don't know what the advantage is of this or why ford decided to go that route...
