Greetings! I finally have one of my favorite pickups of all-time. A 1979 F150. I have tinkered with it a bit so far, with new brakes and a carb kit but a new problem has surfaced....
I'm having trouble getting it to shift out of Park. It's a 3 speed automatic and more times than not now, it takes a herculean effort to get it into R or D. Shifting from D to R or back into P is not a problem at all. I'm a very novice mechanic (putting it lightly) so any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
