1976 Power steering??

Hey, I have a 1976 f100 custom...obviously no power steering. I have a 351w in it from an 82 bronco. The engine has a mount for a power steering pump. How hard/pricey would it be to put in power steering?

Customs could have PS, depended on how it was optioned.

You would need the steering column, gearbox, pump, idler arm, high pressure line and return line with cooler for a power steering setup. Depending on the wrecking yards in your area, you might be able to find the parts there on a truck with factory setup. You would need the correct pump bracket for the 351W.

I converted a 74 F100 many moons ago for ~$200. No idea what the cost may be now.
