1 ton van leafs on a trk??

as some of you may remember in one of my earlier posts i mentioned that a couple of the leaf springs on my truck were broken. i found a guy who has an 85 ford e 350 1ton van that hes trying to sell parts off of. would i be able to use the leaf springs from the van on my 79 f250?? i know that both are 2wd the van has an auto tranny, my truck is a 4spd. both have the 300 ci 6 in them/ my truck has 3" wide leafs under it. not sure about the van. i just figured this may be a cheaper fix then paying a shop to remake the leafs from scratch. any thought or ideas on how well this will work?? as always all feedback is welcome. thanks again, bill

Just measure the length and width of the springs... If its the same, go for it.

Matt is right. just physically measure them to verify the ride height is the same.
