Put a Lincoln Mk 8 fan in it to control the transmission temp. I have a 545 stroked 460 with a 9 1/2" converter - 3500 stall. With the fan clutch and shroud the tranny would hit 250* - way too hot. There are a lot of ways of hooking up the Mrk 8 fan. Some of the Mrk 8 fans are 2 speed...
