Has anyone tried to adjust valves with engine running?

Hi folks. I am looking for some information on the pan clearance to the front crossmember on a two wheel drive with a 351m/400. My truck had a 390 but it gave up the go and i am installing a 400 into it. i would greatly appreciate if some one could tell me how high of the X-member to the pan is...

can anyone tell me if the dipstick tube for a two wheel drive 302 is the same as the one for a 400? looking at pictures in different catalogs it looks the same.

Hey is anyone parting out a Gen 6 that would have the engine stands for the 351m/400. I really need to find me some. I am redoing a 1973 that had a 390 and trying to install a 400. any help would greatly be appreciated.

does anyone have a lead to where I can get a new dipstick tube and dipstick that screws into side of pan. Every where I look, i find plenty of dipsticks that go in at front of engine.

I am having problems with my 99 F250 super duty's ac. My controls are not working. I changed the blower motor switch and the master control switch. But still nothing powers up, defroster, AC, or heater. Is there some other relay or switch I could check and where is it located?

Has anyone mated a E4od to a 351m/400 and what else is needed to make this happen. I want to do this so I can install a GearVendors unit to drop highway RPM's.

can anyone tell me where i can find the engine towers for the 351/400 and will they bolt in the place of the 390 stands. the 390 stands are just a little to tall for for the 400.
